In recent years, technology has revealed that much of the information that golf instructors were giving during golf lessons in the past (myself included) … was simply not correct.

My Story

Like many kids, I played many competitive sports while growing up including basketball, football, baseball and of course golf. I attended New Mexico State University and graduated with a B.S. in Marketing and a minor in Professional Golf Management.

After graduation and becoming a Class-A Member of the PGA of America, I have taught at many great facilities including TPC at Sawgrass, the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, The Woodlands Resort and Country Club as well as the TPC at The Woodlands. Through this time, I have worked with all levels of golfers from first-time beginners to professionals.

Enjoying educating myself, I have been certified by Trackman, the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), US Kids Golf and am also Certified by the PGA of America in Teaching and Coaching. In addition, I am in the process of becoming a Master Professional with the PGA of America.

Through my experiences as a golf coach, I knew that players needed to get the newest information on the golf swing and a better way to learn the game at their own pace. This is how the Ball Flight Academy came into being. I want to help as many players as I can enjoy the game, realizing that time and money are a big issue for many players.
